Choir

Choir members meet on Mondays at lunchtime.  They regularly perform to Whole School Assemblies and at special events.
The choir is open to all students from Year Prep to Year 6.

Music Matters Concert

Or Choir performed in the Music Matters Concert and we were extremely proud of everyone involved in the Ruskin Park Choir.  Our students worked extremely hard and they were receptive to directions revising phrasing for our songs and perfecting their clapping technique.  Their performance at the dress rehearsal resulted in spontaneous applause from the audience and the look of pride on their faces was amazing.  Everyone  in the choir attended additional rehearsals, even on the weekends, which highlighted their commitment.   During the 3½ hours we waited in the holding room, our students played games and their behaviour was impeccable as they sat quietly waiting for their turn to perform.  The wait was well worth it.  As the curtain drew back there was a sea of gold shining in the spotlight and 48 faces beaming at the audience.  Our choir sang beautifully.
